I don't think thats going to happen, but if you want to take it off then you wouldn't have the stock ones to put on

actually.. the factory tC bodykit lipkit is a "lipkit"...it's just an add on onto the stock bumpers front and rear. Only problem will be the side skirt...which is a replacement part.

but... why do one want to remove a $1000 option ? just curious...

Because I don't like it. I like the stock look better and we needed the tC ASAP, this was the only one that was coming in the color and transmission we wanted earlier than 30 days.

Are you sure about that? I searched this board and read other threads saying a 2cm wide hole was drilled into the bumper to attach the kit with. I need some kind of official word on whether any alterations were made to the body or not when the kit was installed - no guesses please.

Also, do you think the dealer will buy it back?

not sure how the dealer installed it...but best way is the check for bolts..either on the bottom or under the bumper area... if they actually drilled holes into horiztonally...that doesn't seem right...and i would be disappointed with such installation.

Best way is to raise the car and check for urself how the screws or bolts were attached.

Blue - the tC is in Los Angeles. I'd be glad to sell the kit to you at a reasonable price (If the dealer doesn't give me a better option). IM me "Bandit sama" if you're interested.

Still waiting on a definite answer as to how the kit is installed. I know the sideskirts are replaced, so I would have to order original sideskirts. What about the front and back? Are any holes drilled? Is the body damaged when the kit is attached? No guessing please

Not a chance the dealer will buy it back, sorry. They were happy to sell you an item you didn't need on your car! I know, I went through a lot of... Junk to get a tC Automatic, fully stock.

But the kit looks good. It's not too overstated, you can barely tell it's on.

There's another guy in my complex who always parks next to me. Same color car (silver streak) only his has the kit. Looking at his car, I almost wish I had gotten the kit!

Funny how the dealers said you had to buy this one with the kit or wait a while, because options like these are installed at the dealer. They totally sold you on that option.

You would need to replace the rear bumper cover if you take the rear skirt off , it has clips through the face of the rear cover to hold it in place . Also you will need to replace the rocker covers with the stock ones. Best bet is find someone that wants the kit and is willing to swap rear bumper cover / skirt and rocker covers .

Most of these kits are port installed on the car before it comes to the dealer .
