Default Warranty limits?

what can i do to the car without voiding the warranty? i go the standard warranty which is 36k mile or 1 year i think.

not one year.toyota/scion is 3 year 36k bumper. 5/60k powertrain. and im sure there are other threads with this answer

i got a tC 5-speed manual.

its basically a rock bottom package. didnt even want carpets =/
my parents just got that dam hollow spoiler...dont really like it but it looks fast =D

just wondering if the warranty will get void if i lower or add intakes. im not planning on anything expensive for a while

well alot of people just get the tc how it comes u know. i mean u can get mats for half the price somewhere else. voiding a warrenty and how to explain it will vary from person to person. what im told is if something happens to your car and something you did(not the dealer) contributed to what happen to whats wrong, they will not cover under warrenty. thats why alot of people buy trd because its covered under warrenty when the dealer installs it. like if you lowered your car with teins,something went wrong with your struts, they wont cover it.now if you had trds and they installed it ,then its different.

tories like this make me gald i got my tC from the dealer that i did. Its nice to have a 7yr./10000 mile warranty and a lifetime on the power train.

u scarred me for a second there Farcus...

i bought some nice mats for $18...and yes its a 4 piece set for the front and the back.

i'll get scion decals for it later =p

i just need to get a shifter **** now and paint a decal on it...

SEARCH FOR WARRANTY, sheesh

Anyways the only true way to void you warranty is to have the parts you added to the car be the cause of the warranty claim. Easy as that

lol farcus. i was like i can use that for people to buy the expensive floormats scion offer. "hey, want the floormats?bc if you don't your powertrain warrenty voids"

usually any performance upgrades will void the warranty, which makes me sad because i just bought a new one and cant really mess with its performance ( . anything cosmetic or aesthetic wont void it.
