yea and it still for sale, they were selling a XA for 21K also maybe you should get it.....the supply is low...LOL
Thats funny gypsy! I was at King toyota a month ago and the only tC they had was already sold. I called the one in Hollywood 2 weeks ago and they only had one to test drive. Are you going to magical dealerships?

Hahahaha, sorry to threadjack man. I haven't had any problems with accelerating quickly and bad motor mounts. However I really don't think it's your mounts. It's probably the syncros in the tranny. Don't shift too fast, thats how you break the syncros. However if I am wrong have your dealer check it out. It is ____ty that the tC has so many little problems but thats what the first production year is for and also warranties.
What demand? Do you even read this board? Every person who wants a tC has to wait at the least 3-4 weeks. SOme people on this forum waited 1-2 months for a tC! And you say no demand? The only people who got one right off the bat are those who got lucky at the dealership because someone cancelled their order. And you still never answered the question on how this car is a peice of tin yet gets 5s and 4s on crash test ratings.

Your bull____ting does not end. I don't know how your friend had a tC 6 months ago, maybe 5 at the latest. First ones didn't arrive on the west coast until July correct? I didn't see any dealers around here have them until late July, couldn't test drive one until August. And
14k for a tC that's as ____ty as you describe it is damn fine trade-in value for a 6 month old car. Most lose at least 4k in the first month, the only exception being cars that are in high demand (such as the RX-8 was 8 months ago) or like now, the tC. I don't know how you can possibly say this car has bad resell value. Everyone who wants an xA can get one real easy, which would explain why your resell value is so low. I mean hell, A girl who was collecting money for charity at a stop light came up and said how great my car looked and how she hopes to test drive one soon. I mean, its obvious you lie about a lot of things, but come on, not in demand
And once again - sorry we're not in the **** business and taking the easy financial-reward heavy lifestyle. Sorry we want to do something with our lives besides help old men and 13 year olds jack off in front of their moniter.
And sorry to let you know, simply saying you friend's tC had to have two replaced is not, I repeat, NOT a good response, you only did so to infuriate readers who allready hate your online persona (and probably would hate you in real life, but lucky for us we don't have to experience that).
But as far as the actually topic goes. I wouldn't worry too much about the engine mounts, but if you feel they are weak then keep an eye on them and have them replaced under warranty when the time comes. If you go with the TRD s/c and the added power does f*ck up the mounts real quick, it'll be covered since it was the result of the S/C and/or manufacturing miscalculation. I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't able to handle a 250+ torque beast which the tC could easily become.
Take it from me though, engine mounts are both really expensive and a _____ to replace, at least on my old MX-6, cost me about $500 to replace those bad boys.
um no supply and demand? theres at least a two month wait at King toyota, which is in S. Florida. You are f-ing crazy if u think theres no demand for a tc... i get offers for resale way higher than what i paid, not to mention sponship oppurtunities wherever i go... this is a hot car, and everyones looking to get into one... props to all tc owners that dont pretend they are rich and drive really luxurious cars while they type on their 5 year old computer from the back of their mobile home.... woooooooooohoooooooooooo cyber gypsi
