This is kind of a weird question but last week I took my TC to the dealer because the lights on my center console burnt out, so they had the car for a day and fixed the lights, but when I got it back there is a weird bump in the middle of my dash??? If you run your hand over the top where the AC vents are i can feel it, I am definatly taking it back to the dealer but I was wondering if anyone else had this problem???

Is it maybe because I live in las vegas where the heat practically melts everything? I dont have a dash cover and my car sits outside for most of the day while I am at work? Just curious, any thoughts would help!

i have the same thing on my dash too. i doubt the dealer caused it to come up. i can only see mine really when it is dim outside or if i am in a parking garage. i dont think its anything they can fix because if you press down on it, you can feel the foam like feeling under it and i just dont see anyway to fix it.

 

Well I am glad to hear i am not the only one who has experienced this, I just figure if its not harming the car in anyway than i am not even gonna waste my time going to the dealer. Everytime I go there even for an oil change I might as well bring a sleeping bag and a change of clothes i am there so long!!!!!

 

I have the SAME wavy-nes on the side door panels & Dash....

The Dash doesnt line up that great w/ the gauge bezel also!...lol

 

I noticed some "wavey" ness on the dashboard right above the passenger airbag area, i just figured it was because of that

 

I have the same bump. i think alot of tC's do. I noticed it since i bought the car 2 years ago
