im hearing a noise when i turn off my radio. it only sounds when i dont have my foot on the gas or the brake. no sound when im on the gas, or the brake. it sounds something like two pieces of soemthing are hitting each other. im just wondering if this is hatch rattle? it sounds as if its comming from in between me and the passenger. like right around the e brake. its really weird. i have a injen cai install if that has anything to do with it. i uninstalled it and reinstalled it and still the sound continues. anyone have any ideas? its really bugging me and my rents are flipping out. should i put back the stock intake and bring it to the dealer and have them fuss with it? thanks in advance.

 

So, with the CAI off, it still makes that noise?

Mine made it from the intake hitting the body through the hole as the rubber came off...

even if you have an intake... if the sound is coming from where you say it is... don't worry about taking it to the dealer with the stock box... it won't effect anything...

But, wierd sounds are always best diagnosed with a tech in your car to hear it as well... online here, it's REALLY hard to be able to lock it down...

 

its a weird sound. like it only happens when im coasting. like not pressing gas or brake. worst. i need to get this checked out. i uninstalled my CAI and did the SRI and still have the sound. its ____ing me off. ill try to get a sound clip if possible.
