what do to with car while deployed?
If you are going to be out over a month without starting it, I would take out spark plugs and pour a small amount of motor oil into cylinder, about a teaspoon. Keep plugs out and turn motor over to spread oil on cylinder walls.

they also sell a engine stabilizer that you can put in your fuel and let it idle for a while before you store it. i used it before i left and i had no problem starting my car when i got back. and if it's gonna be out in the sun if his garage isn't indoors a car cover wont hurt =).
Serving our coutry is great. Because your being deployed can you leave your car on base? Many installation commanders tend to allow that sort of thing, depending on where you are station/how much long term parking you have. That being said, you should DEFINATELY disconnect your battery. I just like leaving my new tC on base when I leave town. Its protected via armed guards, and you will get shot at if you try to trespass. I prefer security over my car being dusty when I get into town. I can always give it a good wash/wax especially since its under a car cover. God speed on your deployment. Remember your Geneva Conventions/Rules of Engagement briefing then shoot first, ask questions later!!
Remember the purpose of war is to make the other bastard die for HIS country/cause, you come back alive buddie.
