Gas prices are rising sky high and I need to find a way to better my gas mileage. What are some tricks and parts to buy to improve aerodynamics?
I haven't lowered my car yet, so I need to do that. I also heard about those air diversion panels. I can also buy a diffuser? or a wind splitter?
Let me know. I am finally making money again so I can afford new stuff haha.

Nothing you mentioned will have any effect on gas mileage.
Best things you can do:
- Keep your foot off the gas. Drive slower, don't accelerate as hard.
- Lighten your load. Got a huge system in the back? That's not helping.
- Adjust your tire pressure. Make sure they're correct, consider going a few lbs over the recommended for less rolling resistance.
- Drive slower. (yes, it needs to be said again)
Those are probably some of the best things you can do to improve your mileage. But don't expect significant improvements from most of them. The biggest piece is just to adjust your driving habits to use less accelerator and slow down. Drive the speed limit on the highway - instead of 10 over. Don't race away from stop signs/red lights. That sort of stuff is what really kills your mileage.
Oh... and don't coast in neutral. Always coast in gear so fuel is cut off when you're coasting. Not sure if you do this, but I'm always surprised at how many do.

lighten up your car can help a bit. ie, carbon fiber parts, lightweight batteries, wheels etc. these things will help a but i doubt you will save tons of gas. but its fun and every bit of weight saving helps.
Someone needs to see if coasting in gear and having to hit the gas to speed back up is more efficient than just coasting in neutral. Slowing down so fast in gear is what I hate the most.
