What do you hate the most? (tC owners only)
nothing, really. I wish it came lower stock, but its no coincidence its as high as it is and TRD springs are conveinetly available providing a "perfect" drop for many people...
so no, no complaints. I don't know why you're having a hard time getting into gear... sounds like maybe your sychros are messed up, which they really shouldn't be unless you grind every single shift all the time, which I doubt. Maybe take it to the dealer?

i've always had a problem with my clutch, 1-it cant handle any power, im gonna replace it once i get more power mods, 2-im constantly getting burnt clutch smell (aka fart smell) even under regular driving conditions, oh and now it squeaks?!?!
Noise galore...hatch rattles, sunroof noises, etc.
Paint...I know most companies do shortcuts when it comes to paint, but our model has the worst I have ever seen as far as easy rock chips and not much of a clearcoat.

If I hated anything on the tC I more than likely wouldn't have bought one. I purchased mine in Late August of this year and have been planning on getting once since mid-January. I was dead set on what I wanted, I just didn't feel the need to have a car payment. The reason I actually went ahead and bought the car was because my previous car's transmission finally died and it would have cost more than it was worth to repair it.
I wish there was a matching "what do you like best about the tC" thread so I can explain how truly awesome this car is for the money. Can I get an amen for "social seating?"
Interior rattles and throttle delay are the only things I dislike. I would also say the tall and soft suspension. But TRD springs and sway are far too cheap not to install, and make for a huge improvement.

I don't own one yet, but I have test driven one. The thing I noticed was that the clutch pedal seemed too close to the gas pedal (and both seemed to be placed too far to the right). Maybe my feet are too big.
I noticed that it was a little bit reluctant to go into gear, but I figure that was just my learning curve. All cars with manual transmissions require different shifting. After driving around in my Miata, my wife's manual Camry feels odd; and vice versa.
Also, it was raining the day I drove it, and the one I tested didn't have a rear window wiper (maybe none of them do?).
Still, I enjoyed the test ride so much that I plan to buy one next year.

none of them have a rear wiper. You only notice it when trying to back out of your driveway in a downpour and can't see a thing. once you get out your fine,
yeah, the paint sucks big time too.

But, I you drive a Miata often, you may be a little disappointed with the tC's 5 speed. Don't get me wrong, I love my tC. The tC's gearbox and shifting feel just aren't as nice as a Miat...er.. MX-5's.
