What do you hate the most? (tC owners only)
I've had the car for about 20 days... I don't have any rattles... i wish the seats were a tad more supportive... I'm use to the srt-4 viper seats. I do have that "reverse" issue... if i throw it into reverse while the car is still rolling foward... its like you feel the gear turning and it crunches.
But there isn't a whole lot that bothers me about the car

I have a short shifter on mine so it goes into gears very easy, My engine damper would probably be the thing I hate the most as far as noise. when i am waiting at a light it sounds like a $500 car. It rattles very loud and is only quiet if I hold the break and press the gas to about 1200 rmp.

Here is one that I'll bet nobody else has thought about....
What are Generation Y people supposed to buy after they grow out of Scions (particularly the tC)?
Before you jump all over my case, let me explain. I know that people who post on this forum are Scion enthusiasts, and that many don't believe that they will ever "grow out" of their cars... and many will not. I agree with them. In fact, I'm old enough to be the parent of most Scion owners, but I can easily see myself in a tC.
However, we all know that Toyota is going for the youth market with Scions. Toyota has always been good about offering a plan for their consumers. For instance, they want people to start off with the Corolla (or Yaris), then buy a Camry or Avalon, and then a Lexus. The same could be said for SUVs; starting with the RAV4 and working all the way up to the Lexus LX 470. It's not set in stone, and obviously they know that folks will step off the path here and there and buy their pickups, SUVs, Siennas. or Priuses.
But, where do you go from the tC? A loaded Celica GT-S or a Supra might have been a decent next step; but both of those models are gone. There's not another sporty car in the Toyota family until you get all the way up to the $35K Lexus IS or the $65K Lexus SC. Toyota, if you're listening... bring back the Supra!

According to the rumors published in Road & Track (Nov '06 issue), it was supposed to be a 350Z killer... for less money. The article didn't specify if Toyota would build it around its 3.5 liter V-6, or its 4.3 liter V-8. Either way, I'd buy one.
Some folks thought it might turn out looking like this:

Another thing that Toyota could have done is give the MR2 a facelift. Instead, they gave up on it, like all their sporty cars.

You're right, I hadn't considered that. I have been short sighted. Thinking about what lip-kit I want, or how I'm going to mod my headlights, ect. But I bet by the time I've made the tC what I want it to be, Toyota will have a nice next 'step' for me.
I can honestly say there's no other car I want after my tC except a 350Z. However, if Toyota brought back the Supra, or at least a decent sports car, I would definitely pick that over the Z. Toyota is going to lose customers in 5 years if they don't make a sporty RWD I6/V6. Though the Lexus IS 350 is nice....it's just not a sports car.

no need to explain...
wow i found something new yesterday...as i was driving on a freeway, the sun was in my face, so i try to pull down the sunvisor to block the sun, when i was pulling it down i hear a pop and the sun visor was dangling, i was still intact just that it won't stay at the position i put it.
Man even a corolla won't do something like this

the only thing that I don't like is that the sunroof doesn't open all the way when you want to slide it back. You have to push it again and then it goes back like 2-3 more inches. I don't see the point of that......
Everything else is cool, mine doesn't rattle or make any weird noises (yet)
