I just ran a bare-bones KBB on it, and it's valued at 10,5 in fair condition. Nothing wrong with an auto as far as performance goes, so if you want it, get it.

yea i'ma go check it out no harm in that but i know i'm gonna want it hell i want to get it right now and i havent even seen it in person. omg it'll probably be so much fun to have a twin turbo rx7! yea i'ma go check it out for sure then i'll probably head over to the bank afterwards haha!
Just be careful with buying underpriced cars. There is always a catch. Something must be wrong with it, although it might not be a deal-breaker for you. When you figure out what is wrong, you can decide if you still want it. Maybe it has damage or wear that is easily fixed, or maybe it had an accident some years ago. Maybe it has a salvage title. You should probably get it checked out by a mechanic if you end up being serious about buying it.
I had a friend who was in the market for a cheap used car, but one which had low mileage and was relatively new. A newer model with low mileage is not usually cheap, but he did find one. He found a listing on CL for a 2006 Kia Spectra with 15k miles for $4000. Something's gotta be wrong with that, right? I know Kias suck, but yeah, he got his hopes up and was almost ready to buy. He did a test drive and all seemed well. The car had a salvage title but everything had been fixed 100%. The only oddity is that the car was unregistered, because the owner claimed he couldn't afford it. He first claimed he had an accident and fixed it himself, then he later claimed the car was purchased from an insurance company, fixed up by his uncle, and gifted to him. The fact that he couldn't keep his own story straight was a definite red flag. The car still had dealer plates from a dealership which claims to have never sold the vehicle. Definite stolen car. The car is STILL on CL several months later and the reported mileage has been revised from 15,000 to 1800.

But yeah, just be careful with that stuff.

oh yea definitly i got a friend who's a good mechanic i'ma call him up and see if he's willing to take a 1hr trip to check out the car it does kinda seem kinda to good to be true cause the cheapest i've ever seen em (aside from this one) was at least 15,000 there's probably something wrong with it i better stop getting my hopes up for nothing cause if i would get it, it might end up being a very nice looking lemon and costing me lots of $$$.
