Default what should i buy?

alright, i just bought the injen CAI and i have $240 left to spend. I either want something that will make the car faster or make the interior or exterior look better. Maybe some new headlights, maybe some tv's in the headrest, or maybe a downpipe or something like that...what would you guys recommend?

Def go with some lowering springs. After that maybe get a short shifter.

okay...well, for 240...you can't do much...you could lower it, but you don't have enough to get sport shocks, so the ride will suffer and your handling won't be very good with sloppy stock shocks. also, you won't have enough for install and the required alignment.

as for interior...don't get stupid junk like a freakin tv in the headrest, your not a rapper, you don't have kids to entertain in the back seat.

you could get some hid bulbs, short throw shifter...pullys (suggestion, no debate starting here!) how about a complete led swap? or the interior led illuminations?

$500 just for an install and alignment? how about you find a new shop. you shouldnt have to pay more than $130 for an install.

yeah, i paid 360 to install my trd shocks, struts, strut tower brace and rear sway bar, alignment was another 70.

anyway, don't waste money on ice your not going to use. how cool is it to have a slim ps2 installed in your car to headrest tv's that you can't see or play while driving? it is a stupid investment unless you drive around alot with ADHD passengers who need the entertainment.

240 is almost enough to get an ed sub and box, but you still need an amp...just put it away and save up for while and get something really good if you don't like what is suggested so far.

i say save it to get lowering springs and shocks, then at least you'll have a nice comfortable ride instead of spending it on useless stuff. Patience is key.

I agree with everyone else, dont get Tvs, invest in lowering springs or short shifter.

HID's and a Short shifter. MobileHID.com has a sale $170 shipped right now. You can also get the CC or Megan short shifter for 80 shipped.

install, step back and look at money well spent.

I'd get a SS and save the rest. Creative Compacts, Megan and TWM are the well know companies. Dr. Isotopoe (sp) on here sell them too. If you don't have a manual, I'd think about HID or a lip kit. If I didn't want any of those I would save it to get either springs/shocks or a better sub/amp combo. Honestly if you want tv's in the headrest, get them but for $240 don't expect very good quality, IMO. I mean you have a eclipse HU and your going to couple that with some $240 headrest tv's??
Remember you get what you pay for, but that doesn't mean buy the most expensive ish.

That depends on much drop you want.
Myself and two friends bought the Eibach prokit, and... people who are rockin TEINS are gonna start a fussing, but the Eibach prokit will give you the perfect drop without ever jeopordizing the comfort of your ride.

I would've recommended a nice exhaust after sucha nice intake, but I don't think you can get a good one for 240 bux_
