If anyone recalls my previous thread (How much TOTAL for a new tC?), I've discussed the situation and it looks like I'm going to get a brand new one.

The question I have is...at what time of the year do the new models come out? I mean if the 08 is expected to come out in May or June I think I can bare until then to get the car.

For people who live in CA, how much do you pay for insurance a month?

my insurance are around $1200 for 6 months....

I pay 262 a month for full coverage AAA but im on my dads policy which may effect it or not depending on your driving history/record. Cali sucks for cars

Yeah the new models do come out in Oct but I believe it's different for the tC from what I've read?

I mean when did the 2005, 2006, and 2007 models come out? What time of the year?

I'm pretty sure it should not be earlier than Oct.

Cuz I remember that my friend got his 06 in Oct of 05

Hmmm ok, not putting anything you said down because it was helpful, but because he got it in Oct 05 doesn't mean it came out that month?

I mean if you can find out for me it'd be great. If the fact that newer models for the tC don't come out till the end of the year then I will just get a brand new 07 now.

Are you talking abou tthe 08 model or has a previous model of the tC come out in june?

previous models for the tC...

i've seen them hit dealerships as early as june or july.... that's when most other auto companies come out with their inventory as well.... sometime during the summer.

the '08 xB is supposed to hit dealerships as early as May even..

so yeah... around summer/fall time... but do what you want.... i don't particularly like the '08 tC too much....

and btw.. it will be more expensive than the '07's... they raise the price each year with the new additions.

I work at a dealership and I am the scion manager also so I will call the Scion sales rep. I know that the new xb is coming in April and hte xD is coming from June to August, But I didn't ask about the tc becasue there isn't to many features that are changing. But I a heads up the price will increase becasue of the couple changes on the 08 tc. Like Ipod standard.

I got my 2006 Scion tC on July of 2005. So I guess you can get an 08 as early as June/July.

^ Cool if that's what you want, but have you seen the 08? Many think it looks better, especially the tails.

I've seen the '08 but I don't like those tails as much as the RS3 and these




As for the front lights I'll be getting new lights too, REAL HID's. The price difference in between the '07 and '08 would be able to cover it for me.

As for the Front Grille...not a big deal at all to me.

Well I got in contact with one of the members on this board whom is a manager at a Scion Dealership and he emailed the rep to find out...I'll let everyone know when I get updated if it's not sooner than you guys.
