Default what a waste....

last week i picked up my brand new BSP TC. Love it to death. Anyway, when i went to pick it up, it was in the back all nice and washed. I saw a RS01 back there with a sold sticker on it. The dealer said it was sold before it even got there. Not uncommon at all. He then went to tell me that some guy bought it for his 80 YEAR OLD MOM!!!! what is the point in that. She came to test drive it and had to put the seat all the way up. I was about to cry. man oh man!! I just had to complain to someone about this. Annoyed me. So if anyone from the Milwaukee area sees a RS01, won't be some little hottie!!

Turbo: could you throw another "ur" in there?

Well, I think this would be just about the only time you'd here "hey grandma... i'm coming over to borrow your car..."

when is the last time you have seen an 80 year old woman driving a sports car and looking like she is really enjoying it. She will be driving a scion, not a new yorker. 80 year old women shouldn't be driving period, not to mention a car mostly driven by Generation Y ages. Sorry, i just don't agree with some older drivers, caused to horrible accidents to my family. God bless the old lady though if i see her cruising down HWY 100!!

Look at some MINI COOPER owners...
A good majority of them are geriatric or near it

Why you hating on 80 year olds? When you are 80, the only thing I want to see you driving is your wheelchair!

Age means absolutely nothing when it comes to cars. Nothing! Now, if they are old and are not safe behind the wheel, then they shouldnt drive. But I can tell you I will not be caught driving some new yorker when I am old. I will be driving what I LIKE! So as long as she is safe to drive, then more power to her! All those "no one over such and such age should be driving such and such car" people are weak minded little kids without a clue!

i just don't like old drivers cause a 79 year old woman paralyzed my cousin. She had no clue what she was doing behind the wheel. after 70, a year to year test should be given to them, as for the 80 year old getting the RS 1.0, i just thought it was funny and not common. I didn't intend for this to become so serious, geez. PS: plz email me ANY Pictures you can get of somone over 70 driving something sporty. I will print it out and hang it in my room. I don't think i will be getting any emails soon.[/quote]

Like I said, if they are unsafe to drive, that is another issue. But just as far as age.. not an issue. And here in MN I have seen at least a 75 year old woman driving a vette, and I am guessing a 70 year old guy driving a porche.. all in that last few months.

I see his point, but it is only a stock tC... Now if it was like the only one that had the AEM CAI and SC I'd be ____ed at granny....

Old people should take that money and buy their grandkids a car and make them drive them everywhere hehe that is what I plan on doing at that age. I hope to God I won't be driving when I get that old... I should be driven!

lol! I just told my mom this story and showed her the pictures of the car and she shook her head. She said, "He should've bought her a Camry."

A camry HA! or a solara...but look guys i mean..he wanted to buy her a sporty car..it was affordable O WELL! think of it this way...i am not trying to be mean..but if she's 80...i am sure the car will outlast her...so no worries people. Let her enjoy her new tC. So in the end LITERALLY her son...well darn he ends up with a limited tC...see he was thinking of himself when he bought the car.

I have seen alot of older people in scion's around here. Mor powa to them for buying a nice reasonably priced car. Don't be selfish now. Not everyone driving a scion is a "tuner".
