My 2nd choice was Lincoln LS.

Quite a different style. But to keep it relatively same price, it would have to have been more used as opposed to new. That is what sold me on the tC. Plus, I have admired them since they were released.

Glad I went with the tC. I see more and more Lincoln LS's driven by ppl my age everyday. I like that fact that the car I have is more unique although popular among my demographic. LS wouldn't have been so special.

Almost every car you read in here is greater than the tC...

First choice: G35 coupe
Second choice: BMW Z4
Third choice: MB CLK430
lol @ that...

Oh now a Porsche was even a choice?...hahah...

How are someone's choices going to range from 18k to 50k. It wasn't really a choice that you got the tC, it was the fact you could only afford it. This is throughout the whole thread...

Anyways, my only other realistic choice was the 2007 Civic.

Id pick a tc over a wrx and definetely an evo...or id probably take those...sell it and get a nice Acura TL .
They are so common it is ridiculous nowadays so I just can't stand it.
Everyone has theirs "done up" its rarer to see a tc done up so its a lot more fun to drive around for me at least...
Ill leave horsepower to all you horsepower freaks who most likely will rap around a tree later in life ...

Ditto. I'm not into tCs for the power or anything. tC does stand for 'Touring Coupe' after all, so I'm not ruining mine with power mods or anything like that.

It's not specifically the WRX or EVO, but being able to afford something in that range but going for the tC isn't realistic. For those who actually have the WRX and STi as a choice, HP was obviously a concern.

my 2nd choice was the Matrix. Ugly as hell but for some reason I thought it was the cutest car for being as functional as it is. Then I test drove the tc cuz I was bored one day and wanted to make sure the Matrix was for sure THE car. Never looked back at the Matrix after that!

IMO the Matrix could be a great car from Toyota, but it needs to be packaged right. Like the void left from the so-so audio system. No MP3-CD player? Come on, Toyota, we know you can do better!

2nd choice was an SI. The only reason i didnt get it was because my ___ is a little too wide for the bucket seats.

The the list went to:
Corolla XRS
Matrix
Corolla S

The only reason i didnt get a corolla xrs was because they stopped making it a year ago.
