Wondering what everyones' 2nd choice was to the tC

1st choice 350Z

2nd to tC was mustang

 

Save up for WRX or STi

 

2004 Mustang GT.

 

I knew nothing about the SCION when I went to the dealer. I went to the dealer to look at the PRIUS and saw the TC and decided I had to have it.

 

my next choice was the '06 eclipse

ehhh.... choice one was the xA, buuuut since they were cleaned out by stinking collegebound teenage girls the day before I went with my tC.

I regret nothing however,....except maybe the fuel economy.

 

m sort of in the same boat, i was not really looking for the Tc, ive seen them around, but i have driven a mazda 3, civic Si which was a nice car, but very heave, and a RSX. i saw the TC on the lot looked it up on the internet, and it seemed to very well built, so bought it.

I was about to jump on a 2004 VR6 GTI, 6 speed. I love VW's, but Looking at resale of the VW, and the cost of the tC(could've taken the VW for a lil over 20K, it was still new just not been sold yet back in march) I decided on the Scion, plus I worked for Toyota then... (Scion now)

...no regrets

 

Celica or Corolla XRS (< most likely)

but thank god the tC came out.. I've always wanted a 2 door

Was about to get an 05' rsx-s

 

I was looking at the mazda 3. Really wanted an Accord Coupe V6 but couldn't afford it. Now, I love my tC so much, I don't know if I would trade it for a brand new Accord.

Then we found out about the gas mileage.

I suppose there's a reson only ONE production car uses a rotary engine.

Mazda6. It was so close there was no 1st pick but the price and resale value of the tC definately gave it an edge. Was at the Mazda dealership about to purchase a 2005, but they did not have a 5speed in stock. When I asked them to get one there then all of a sudden they couldnt give me a deal anymore. So I walked up to the Scion dealership and drove away a tC. They had lent me the 6 overnight and I had no ride home so I walked away. They didnt even offer me a lift. Actually I had to push 2 managers out of my way to leave. They really wanted me to buy the 6. Shouldnt have tried to screw me over because I knew what I wanted.
