I know that none of these cars compare, I just think it would be interesting.

2005 Ford Mustang, and 2005 Mitsu Eclipse Spyder.

Can't afford the insurance on either of those, and the value is hardly what you get from the tC. I'm going to the dealer to order my tC later today.

 

yeah, Mustang is a good choice, it's so cheap (MSRP/Invoice anyways.)
But I've heard it's very hard right now to get the GT version, and you have to put down $1k just to test drive it...

 

TC was my third choice behind the subaru STI and the Mitsu EVO 8 MR. I just did not want a 500-600$ a month car payment right now.

 

My first choice was an accord which is the reason why I got an auto loan, but then I saw the TC. I looked even further and saw the price tag and I it won me over.

 

2nd choice was the 05 mustang, 3rd choice was an 05 civic

 

My first choice was the Mini Cooper and second woulda benn the Mazda6 or pontiac G6....fortunately the day I wanted my tC I got it

my first choice was always the tC.. back in november of 2003 I saw the teaser picture Scion released.. when it hit the auto show i was first in line to see it in detroit..

the other car i did think about was an accord EX.. but I have had it with how cheap Honda keeps getting year after year, it's out of control.. so I said bye to Honda.. and I am a loyal Toyota (and all their brands) person now..

Lexus IS300, Acura RSX S-type, Mazda 3 (hatch), Scion xA, Scion tC.
For awhile there the trend was going towards the least expensive cars, then the tC was discovered and that change my mind very quickly.

 

Evo VIII MR if I could afford it.

 

The Toyota Corolla S was actually my 1st choice, but after doing research on the tC a bit more, the Corolla quickly became the 2nd choice.

 

Mine was a xB or Mini...the Mazda3 was on my list (I actually just came from a Mazda6) but wanted something that would actually still hold its value in 2-3 years.

 

I was looking at used RSX-type S, but i fell in love with the tC and its price tag. Of course in a dream world I would have gotten the g35 coupe
