Not voting because it's not on there, but

Toyota Prius

I was in it for the incredible futuristic features, adding on the Nav option w/SAB's and everything, like remote keyless touchless sensor door lock/unlocking, push button starting, control everything from the steering wheel, power everything, etc etc for $25,000

AAAAND

the whole 60mpg rating. cept real world is 40-45mpg. and figuring if I kept the car for 10yrs I would only save less than $4,000 in gas, the $10,000 price difference between the TC and the Prius was the obvious choice. Sorry nature, you're too expensive to save, maybe next car when it's more common. Maybe I'll go plant a tree or something.

I almost got a 2005 Mazda 3-i 4-Door.. Basic stripped down model.. I still like it and might end up getting one in the future, but the tC appealed to me alot more, and I know the tC will be in huge demand for years to come and will hold its value alot better.. For now I'm super happy with my tC

A Mercedes-Benz C230 Kompressor.

I was working at a Benz dealership at the time, and someone there offered me a pretty nice discount, and I had an option of buying one used with 10k milage.

I glanced--Glanced--at the Mitsubishi RalliArt. Then I realized it's a Mitsubishi. Meaning resale would have been around the price of a nice set of rims for a tC in four years.

Then I saw the tC...

I'm glad I didn't go with the C230, especially since my girlfriend keeps calling them 'fugly chick cars.'

My sister bought an Accord EX, STRIPPED, for the same price as my tC.

I looked at the Corolla S, but it just wasn't really my style. I wouldn't have been happy in one.

test drove the RSX-S which i loved, but was, frankly, too expensive. also looked at the Tiburon GT but it felt a little anaemic and cramped inside, and i'm not confident of hyundai's reliability (yet). test drove the mazda 3s which handled nicely, but i had a weird issue fitting in the car properly - my right leg kind of rubbed against the center console, which bugged me. a while ago i'd test driven a focus SVT, which was a lot of fun too, but i just couldn't afford it at the time. i'm glad i got the tC! took her up to the snow in yosemite this weekend, and she did just fine

I had my xB picked out and ready to order the day I graduated. Then one day I went back to the Scion website and they had this little product called the tC coming out the same time i'd be finishing up school... Sealed that deal real quick.

I’m surprised 40% of the people here voted for the Mazda 3. That car was not even close to being on my list

I really wanted a WRX, but the wife hated it

I would have considered a RSX-S, but I had a 99 GSR Integra for 14 months that had the interior stolen once, then the entire car stolen and stripped later. I need a car that does not have parts that bolt into a civic.

I love the SRT-4’s numbers, but just really don’t want a neon

When I bought my IS300 18 months ago I was originally looking at a 6 speed V6 accord, but found out the IS was only $2000 more…plus I got 1.9% interest, so my payments are the same as they would be with the accord

The tC was my first and only choice. I was perfectly happy with my Acura, but once I saw those tC commercials, I had to get one.

Default Mustang are you serious????

I can' t believe so many people like the Mustang. It is so ugly looking. I looks like absolute crap. I can't believe any one would want it after what they did to the front end. It is hideous, it looks like they put the lights on upside down and they carved a hole in a box and stuck them in. On the side of the car it looks like there should be a air intake of some sort , like the old ones (which was fake i might add) but they just smoothed it off and forgot about and put a stupid indent in it, it I looks horrible. I can not believe that someone who would choose a beautiful car like the TC would also consider a mustang boring crap box. Also I could not stand the interior of the acura rsx. Those stupid looking climate control ****, they look like a fisher price toy. The RSX is closer on the outside to the sporty looking tc but the inside is god awful ugly. The tc is amazingly designed inside and out!!
