i sometimes pretend I'm going to race them ;)

i rev it up and i just see them launch, then i just launch:slowly.

 

I keep it in the right lane w/ the music blaring in my own world. If someone would try to race me then there in my 'hoola-hoop' and they need to get the hell away from me. yay.

 

Yeah, 4 kids in a Dodge Neon tried racing me. Im not big on racing but theres always someone on the road who tries messing with ya. Anyways I wouldnt play into the kids little game so someone from the Neon called me a d-bag. I dunno but I think it was pretty childish. I just wanna be able to enjoy my car.. Theres no reason to street race.

some kid tried to race me in his 00 model mustang V8 and so i was like whatever he took off like crazy and he mishifted 1st gear so after that i gunned it and took off on him. at the next light i looked at him and laughed so hard and he just turned instead of tring to go again LOL. idiot doesn't know how to drive and yet he gets owned

 

This reminds me when I tried to 'race' an M6...damn is that car fast.

 

I find it pathetic that their are people who have egos to big to just let it slide off their shoulder and continue about their business. And I am talking about the tC owners in this thread. How is it hard to just look, laugh and continue on your way?
What does it prove to race them?
I get people revving all the time. I usually wave or dont even look. Every now and then I will rev it up with the clutch in, just to watch them race off in their own little world. I can happily say I have never ever street raced. And you know what, I am still happy with my car. I dont have to race these morons just to make my ***** feel bigger.

Ehh racing in the street, let alone speeding is pretty dumb in my opinion, unless you were speeding b/c you had an emergency. The only car I had that looked over and revved at me was a suzuki @_@.

that was when gas was alot cheaper than it is now, when i see a car on the freeway or street pull right next to me and floor it i say damn there goes a gallon of gas for him LOL.

 

same here, theres times where i jus wanna drive and not race ever and then when i see a car trying to catch up to me or sumthing i never back down which sux lol but watever i have these same 3 guys every morning trying to race me a ford SHO taurus a 05 civic si hatch and a Maxima so annoying especially during morning commute

I dont know about where you guys live but over here in Burien WA it seems as if the EVOs are out to prove something..I mean comeon yea their FAST but u dont have to rub it in for cars that are slower u noe?...B/c when I was driving home from work an EVO saw me with my Fart Canister and then he comes up behind me and starts tailing me im like WTF dude im a tC not an STI! idk just had to let that out...dont get me wrong I dont hate them because i have a few friends that have EVOs its just damn dude race someone ur own speed ;)....

 

I spare myself the embarassment of racing in a tc, especially when most of the cars on the road, in my area are $30k and above.
