Default Where can i get an RS grill?

Or is there any other OE grill w/o the scion emblem?? i don't like it.

and i don't like any of the aftermarket mesh grills. very ricy imo.

i just want the OE style grill without the scion emblem. i know the rs grills don't have it, but i also know they're expensive as anything to buy from the dealers.

suggestions?

thanks in advance.

they're normally very expensive..

only way to save money is to find someone with it that's selling...

or buy a cheap replica... no other options available besides that.

I agree with you completely stealth. I have looked everywhere for a grill that looks stock without the scion symbol much like the RS. However, all I can find are aluminum mesh grilles that look rediculous. If anyone knonws where I can buy an RS grille i would appreciate it.

yeah your right, i priced the rs grill at the dealership and its around 2 grand!, i searched for months to try and find the grill i wanted and i went ahead and bought a Figure grill flat black, the exact same one that is on the tc in in this thread, looks darn good and has a nice clean look to it, very easy install, go to my cardomain.com site to check it out.

yes, it's isotope's, you can buy them on ebay. it's a little different now, he changed it a while back. if you have any questions just PM him like i've done in the past, he's a regular SLer on here.

I feel really bad for anyone who f's up their rs1 grill. That should be a crime...paying Mercedes prices for Scion parts.

It is to keep the RS1 and RS2 cars as being truly special and rare. This is sort of the point, get that exclusivity for the price of a Scion. I know that there are only 2599 cars, EVER, that may come close to looking like mine after I customize it. Of course, if my car gets totaled...I will cry because I will not be able to find a new one that is not heavily customized (costs over $30K from a dealership).

I just thought about something, having this exclusivity, it makes me feel like I almost drive a Lexus. And with that, I have an urge to buy a Lexus when I make that much money....those clever bastards!

And FYI, I believe you need the VIN number for an RS car in order to buy the grill.

Ninja edit: Check junkyards. A lot of people totaled their RS1 and I have seen a few RS2 totaled.

^^^^That exclusivity thing is great and all...but thats a hefty price to pay for RS owners. If you got into an accident and didn't want to go through your insurance company for whatever reason, you'd be so screwed. For that kind of money, might as well just get the Lexus to start with. They could have atleast made the RS more powerful.

i agree, that is total BS how expensive they are. apparently the grills are more expensive/valuable than the trd strut/shock set??!! :D hilarious. sometimes i feel like scion has their head up their you know what.

Figure Grills? they're not too bad looking at all. I still don't like the metal mesh grill, but they look better than the other aftermarket alternatives.

how do i get the figure grills?

Any accident that would destroy your grill would set off the airbags and would probably need a new bumper and headlight(s). It would cost a few grand without the grill so it does not matter with it.

If you do not want to go through insurance for a few grand (not including the grille), chances are you did something illegal. If you hit something but do not want it on your record, should have bought a junk car.
