From a 99' S10 I have the little coin box from the glove box, put it in my center console, it makes me happy

 

I put my change in the thing that everyone calls a cell phone holder. I have to remove my dash about once a month to knock out various coins that jammed it up.

 

I tape my change to my dash. That way I always know how much I have...

 

I have a plastic container in my glove box, but the cover borke the other day from some aggresive turns and now there is change all in my glove box!! I need to find a better container i think!!

I keep mine in the flip up thing by the shifter. Sometimes I keep some in the top part of the arm rest as well.

 

I have a special place for mine. I set my change on the Driver's seat. Then it mysteriously slides in between the upper and lower cushions of the seat. I used to be able to look under my Driver's seat, but now its so full of change I can no longer do so. Basically, it looks like my Driver's seat needs to take a dump.



j/k. Mine is in the Cell Phone holder. Then later that same day, I transfer it to a big jar in the house. The last time I emptied that jar, it had over $200 in it! Woo hoo!

 

I too use the "cell phone holder" since my phone stays in my pocket. funny some people mentioned coins falling inside the console, because that's the very reason this thread caught my attention... how do I get it apart so my flip up door opens the whole way again???

 

ok so apparently everyone just keeps their change in that small ash tray looking thing by the shifter... ok.. yeah.. this post was no help.

 

In the glove box, left side small divider. I put the change in 2 plastic 35mm film roll containers, and then inside a sweet, michael Jackson triller (image has worn off, so now its just black) zippered coin purse. That I got from my parents from six-flages in the 80s.

And I rarely use cash , so it more of a "time capsule of coinage".

Any one else do this, or are you still using the flip up container by the E-break?

I keep my change in the upper armrest, because I have the ciggerette lighter and blue tooth in the flip up cell phone holder thing

 

ok well if you have soo much change that wont fit in there, go to your bank and get bills for that? why do you need sooo much change?


i work at a bank, and i get this guy every other day and he brings in change from his car. Over the past yr (and he hasnt touched the acct. besides deposits), he has about $400. Thats not bad for bring in change about twice a week! So...... ?

 

i live in NY.... there are tolls and meters i have to pay for... in NY change is everything man!

I put mines in the "auxillary box" or thats what the manual calls that thing that everyone is refering to as the box that flips by the shifter....correct me if I a wrong?
