Yamaha helped produce my lower displacement, high compression, 8,400 RPM fuel cut, high revving, 100 hp per Liter engine...if that's what you were thinking of.

Why in the world would Yamaha help produce an engine like yours???
actually im pretty sure that Yamaha built the head for the 2AZ, like 99% sure

I have no problem with the Camry engine. It's one of the most bullet proof 4bangers out there.

Haters like to make fun of the "Camry" engine after their 120hp Civic gets smoked. LOL!

I'm curious, would it say Yamaha somewhere on the engine, then? Regardless, Camry motors aren't bad, well Camry in general is smooth in terms of driving. I think they look nice. People say that Camrys are boring but I don't think so. Just that there suspension is designed to be soft for mature drivers or people who prefer comfortable drives.

I doesn't have to say yamaha, but most Toyota engine made by Yamaha that I've seen clearly has the Yamaha name on it..

Toyota hit the nail on the head with the tC. Majority of car drivers want a comfy suspension and an engine you don't have to rev the shoot out of it to drive around town.

Although there are those like us who want it a little more hardcore but that's when your personalization comes in.

I read somewhere that another car company is thinking of making a "youth oriented" division like Scion. I think it was Honda, not sure.
