Default who got Intake System and Exhaust System installed?

Who got those two things installed and can actually feel the increase of HP in their tC?

i got the TRD Exhauste System installed...i know it's too little of a HP increase for anyone to feel anything...so i just wonder...with the cold air intake system installed, would you be able to feel the increase of HP? or that's still too low to to feel the difference?

CAI will more than likely increase the HP...however, i was informed that any axle back exhuast don't increase HP..u have to replace the whole exhuast piping from CAT back in order to improve performance. Most if not all Axle back exhaust such as TRD is purely for looks and sound. I doubt there is any real HP gain.

yea an exhaust is an exhaust, you dont really get much power out of them unless u go catback and even then on a n/a engine it wont do much. on turbo cars they do raise hp a bit though. you would see more gains from an intake, header, pullies, etc.

My opinion (JUST MINE)

Axleback exhaust is pointless and dumb...

It offers no real power, and any sound improvement is no where near as good as a catback system will...(from what I've read)

Axleback adds a better engine note, and offers a greater performance increase to boot...

how about if you do the dc sport header and the axle back i would think there would be a diffrence there between stock and trd since the trd is probly a little more free flowing or like the injen it seems like a glasspack muffler to me so that would probly be a gain if only 2-3hp besides what the header would give

I have a short ram intake. I can feel a lil bit more power, but nothing extraordinary. I can tell when I squeal tires pulling second 85% of the time I'm not even trying.

We put the Precision exhaust advertised on this web site on our tC and also tried the TRD part. The Precision is a cat back, although a little too quiet for my tastes, it doesn't effect low end torque negatively. I can hear the motor, making the car easier to drive with a 5 speed( way too quiet and isolated stock ). I didn't notice any gain on the top end, and the fit and finish are below average, although the price is very aggressive.
As for intakes and headers we have not tried any but we are willing to test stuff out with our money and report to you so you don't waste your cash. Give us a call.

monstrous, thank you for the critiscm. We will work our efforts to make our below average poduct better. I hope this doesn't defer you, or anyone else, from our other products for the xA and xB. But in our favor is the pricing for the exhaust systems for the tC, I will praise that. Once again thanks for the critiscm monstrous, our continuing efforts will be our products.
