i saw this picture before.. but never found out who's tc or what kind of wing it was. anyone know? i like this wing. not too flashy, not too big, and works with the tc. i wanna know who makes it or sells it.

The tC looks really nice. I can look past the wing, it's not too bad and flows. But yes...still "rice"

lip spoiler is not functional, if anything the tacky spoiler is more functional

 

Rice=a part that that provides no performance value on the car that it is on, but mimicks a car where the part does perform a function.

On this car IMO both the lip and the wong are RICE. Neither perform a function on this car. Our car is front wheel drive.

 

The only function that wing has is the capability to make me vomit.

wtf? nice brakes and rotors, and the drop and offset are great, but the back end is just odd, imo.

fwd has nothing to do with the downforce a good spoiler that is suppose to create.

 

well..i'd rather have this wing then the OEM pedestal spoiler.

 

i think it looks real niiiiiice... yea the lip spoiler does not belong but maybe the kid had it taken off already... takes like 5 mins to take it off anyways.... the drop, the wheels, even the wing IS NOT THAT BAD just my 2 cents

Where the drive wheels are located has very little to do with how the car is affected by changes in aerodymanics. A car that gets "light" or "tail happy at higher speeds can benefit from an effective spoiler regardless if its front/rear/or awd.

But I do agree, that wing is a little over the top and doesn't match the car cosmetically as well as others do.

 

The car itself looks greats without the wing though!

 

I don't think it looks to bad... not over the top at all. Good color choices all the way around.

 

that wing is damn good. i dont know what you guys are talking about. that tC is better than 90% of them ive seen. i really like it. maybe some people are just too afraid to voice their real opinion, and just want to be sheep and follow what the person before said.

who knows. if i had a tC , i would actually get that wing. call me a ricer. thats the way it goes

not everyone is after performance. some just want looks. i have no pretentions of going fast in the tc. i'm not out to race anyone... i just want it to look decent. as for the wing. i found out it's made by AC Schnitzer for BMW.. and it's freaking $1500!!! and completely functional.

" The wind tunnel test performed by the editors at "sport auto" found that the AC Schnitzer Racing Rear Wing increased the downforce of the BMW M3 (E46) by 21.3 kg!"



but megan racing has a knockoff for ~$300.
