Keep in mind that the speeds you have to be going before you notice any benefits from the wing are high.
Actaully wings were first put on RWD cars so that at high speeds they could maintain traction to the rear wheels, so that power to the ground can be maintained.

the SRT-4 was designed with this in mind though. supposedly the wing they have is functional. id have to see some numbers that prove it, but word from Dodge is that the wing actually has a purpose.
point of my rambling: it doesnt have to be RWD to have function. will this wing have function? no. but it sure is _____in
Some people use these "rice" parts to enhance the look of their car. My tC only has lowered springs and tint for a clean, subdued look. Some people prefer body kits and spoilers for a sporty, aggressive look. It's a way of expression and that's how many aftermarkers make their money. It's not always about performance.
The wing is different than other wings out there and it looks fine imo. Its all up to what the individual likes. I really think people have taken the term "rice" and really ran off with it. It's now used to describe any kind of modification someone doesn't like on the car and people are soooo quick to shout it out. "OMG THAT SPOILER IS RICE!" "STICKERS? RICE!" "THOSE LIGHTS TOO, RIIIIIIIICE!". Really, its pretty damn old.
Those wheels are the graphite RH 19" J5 rims.

Better known as "Racing Hart"
Or ... the same wheels that TRD got their 19" wheels from but in different color.

I believe that I use the work appropriately.
yeh the word "rice" is over used. some people aren't in it for the performance. not everything you put on the car has to serve some mechanical function. some people are in it for looks. not everyone out there is set on building a race car. some people just don't care abou being fast. so what. i guess everyone who puts on bigger and heavier than stock rims equal rice too since you dont gain any "performance value" by your terms.

I clearly stated heavier bigger rims. I know they make lighter wheels. Not everyone chooses rims because they are light. If so, why dont everyone out there buy the lightest wheels on the market. You miss the point I was trying to make please read more clearly next time.
A lot of these big rims that I see on a lot of these cars I do think is rice IMO. You might not see me making noise about some of the rims, because even though they are heavier, they are not as repulsive as some mods that others are doing to their cars. Also everyone isn't buying super light rims because they are expensive. I think that answers your question.
I think it looks fine- actually, it's somewhat similar to the OEM pedestal spoiler, which I also like. Makes the car look a bit more agressive/sporty, as someone else had previously mentioned.
