Anyways... on topic: part of the marketing junk for Scion as a company is being able to make it your own. That's why you can get so many things OEM from the dealer as accessories. It's about personalization. If you like it stock - then that's for you. If someone wants to add new wheels or a spoiler, then that's for them.

Just ask yourself one question:
What moves you?

I should work for their marketing dept.
They said it best.

I like my stuff to be special, one of a kind.

I was talking to a guy at work the other day about the things I've done on my car and he was asking why. I told him for performance and looks, then I said to him "I saw your sons car in Stoneham (suburb of Boston) last Saturday".
He replied "Wait, My son was at the track Saturday. It wasn't him".
I then said "It had to be him....How many 'red Mustang GTs' can there be in Boston?" He just walked away.....Thats why we mod!

Well, to each his own... the choice to mod your car is solely your own. I live in LA and see many tC's on the road daily, some are stock some aren't. It was my intention to leave mine alone when I get it... now it is my plan to just have the dealer do everything and pay for it up front $24K+, its done by the time I get it, its under warranty and its all paid for. I am choosing to go with all the Scion goodies rather than going full aftermarket, but I believe in the TRD products and like the fact that they have the factory Scion warranty.

These cars are a blank canvas... mods depend on the taste of the person, (just because you choose to do none does not mean you have no taste), the car is absolutely beautiful stock... anything added to it depending on the driver makes it more attractive to them, or enhances performance or whatever.

I just sold my 2004 BMW 325ci to get this car... my bimmer is awsome but hate the price of premium in LA, and its not getting any better. This little car will be the perfect replacement and I have never been so excited to take delivery of a car in my life, that should certainly say something about my opinion of the looks and performance of the car as a whole.
