Default Why a tC?

Why out of all the car models out there these days did anyone choose a tC, or even a Scion?

I choose a tC cause my friend had a xB. I took a look at it and it was pretty cool, but it wasn't really right for me. So, since he knew a friend at the dealership, I took a look around and just liked the look and styling of it (tC). I knew it wasn't no mustang, or some exotic...I just liked it....

you say why a tC, I say why not!
but seriously... it is hard to beat the tC for the price. And as jon mentioned, at the time it was very rare and unique.

like i've said be4 somewhere here...the price wasn't really an issue, it was nice, but not an issue as i was also looking at Z's, G35's, and Evo's...but after test driving all of them, the tC was just soooo much better to me...underpowered, but it felt great. I also got mine when they were still a rarity and i wanted to possibility to be able to try new things on my car and be extremely unique. I love this car, and i have no second guesses on my choice

Nice, simple (clean) look.
Toyota reliability.
New lineup - something different.
Loved the FM paint.
Great options - I got almost all of them, and it's still one of the best iPod kits available anywhere on any car.
All-glass roof.
ScionLife.com - where else are there so many cool kids?

Good luck!

Its was the pure pricing that got me.
My Jeep died during the day and I had a new tC by night.

I always wanted a tC from the day that I saw the prototype model at the L.A. Auto Show years before it officially hit dealers.
It was around the same time Chevy Cobalt was also in it's early stages and every magazine writer called it something like Chevy's savior. LOL

I like the S-type R, but does it REALLY top out at 180? Is it modified or something?

Ever since i saw the tC i've always wanted one since i would be able to afford it, and im a toyota guy so why not? I just didn't really like the cars toyota had in the similar price range (corolla and matrix [i think])

I like it cause a lot of ppl have one actually. Therefore there are more meets and more people to relate to about something.

Plus you can't beat the price for a car like this.

I also like how there aren't any trims (besides spec). but YOU have to customize it to your liking.
