Default why tCs get the shorter end of the wild color stick.

small group of us talked with the VP of scion (bragger, i know right)
but he says the reason the tC doesnt get as crazy color choices as the xb is cause of the plant that they make them at. it also produces several other models only 7 different colors at a time and for now it can only support 1 non-traditional color thats also gonna go through the other models being pumped out of that plant.

i may have gotten some specifics wrong but the jist is right. thats why the RS colors are more tonned down cause they dont have the room/ability for a crazy color "paint bucket" for a limited run car.

i did tell him they need it to go a bit wild with it though, and also some other posibilitys for available performance upgrades. he wished they could have a TRD turbo as opposed to supercharger :D

Cool story.
Yeah, Scion definitely dropped the ball on making 'more interesting' colors for the RS tCs.
That's not to say the colors chosen were weak, they were just a little too bland for my tastes.

I firmly believe the RS1 was and is the Best Realase Series and nothing has even come close to it so far, You should have told him to start thinking outside the box again

Well it seemed to them that their solution to the problem would just be making the spec so people could dump more of their lives into their Tc's

isnt that the point of scion is to provide like a clean slate for customizers to make it their own and do whatever they want. If people start throwing all these wild suggestion they personally want scion to make stock, other people wont like it, not everyone agrees on the same terms.

I love the rs1 and rs2 paint but 3 is just another white with tyc tails and a lip kit and the rs4 is just ___ lol
