If you are just going to trade it in, you could get a bottle of duplicolor touch up paint (available in most auto parts stores) the one with the pen and brush and just put several coats on the scratches. If you go over a little, let it dry and use you finger nail to scrape the over paint. You can also smooth it out with Scratch-X or polishing compound.
Most dealers I have dealt with recently don't check that closely on the car.
That way you don't get them saying your car is worth a lot less or some crap. All for about $5 of paint.

Thanks for the tip, I might just do that. I know I am not going too get much for the car due too the mileage but anything helps

I'll look up the store I got mine from but factory color touch up paint works great. Simply mask the area with masking tape and you can use the spray bottle or pan or bush and cover those, it'll look good as new.
