Yes definitely get tint. It'll help keep you car cooler and protect the interior from fading in the long run.

I got 20% all around and lifetime warranty.

it's not always about the price, it's also the quality of the film. film are not all created equal. and also just because you got 5% doesn't make it better than 35%. What brand/kind of film did you get?

Just shop around for prices. The first place I called quoted me almost $150 for llumar! ... anyways, they offered a "3 year warranty" tint for $119.

I call another place, who doesn't assume a "scion tC" is "the suv looking box," and is overall much smarter, and they quote me $119 for llumar.

I still have yet to actually go get a tint done, though. Ugh.

Getting a tint is like getting your hair done--you don't really need it, but everytime you see "the new dew" you're overwhelmed with happiness.... however, the cops can't ticket you for having an illegal haircut but they can on an illegal tint... but it adds alotta umph to your car's looks.

How do you know you got the premium tint? Did you see the installer pull the tint out of the box? Even then that still don't mean he put on premium tint. But again, you have to know what good and cheap tint looks like to tell the difference. Before I knew how to tint, I thought I was getting the good tint, then not even one year later it turned purple. That tint shop is no longer here. I have a roll of that cheap tint that will make any car look just like that and it will turn purple within a year. Only time will tell.

You should have no problems if you go to a good reputable shop. Most shops dont carry more than one brand of tint anyway since most people dont know the difference in brands of window tint.
