I got the back three 5% paid about $170. I got llumar, I also got a vinal strip put on where the ceramic lines are on the back window.

 

That's pretty crazy some of the prices the shops are charging you... although I have been quoted similar prices, I've also been quoted prices such as $119 for Llumar.

Still have yet to get my tint done, however, because I am running short on cash already... friggin detailing supplies

 

Llumar's pretty good. No complaints as of yet...

 

I wish I didn't have to wait to get my windows tinted. Hopefully I can get it done just before I leave for WA state this Dec. that way I don't have to worry about rolling down the windows.

 

Oh man that reminds me... I meant to get my windows done over the WINTER so that I wouldn't just roll down the windows out of habit as I do in summer... danget! That means I can't hold off until spring...

lol!! yea... i did!! i put 50% on there!! its real nice!! gets rid of most of the heat nd sunlight butt still barely noticable!!

i was gonnas put on 20 b4 i got pulled for just 20 on my sides!! lol!! so i put in 50 instead nd 15 on sides!!

Tint is very good if you live in a hot state. Like maybe hawaii? =P. It also ups the value of your car!

 

BSP with 20% tint looks so good =D *hint hint* my car hahah when its lowered which would be soon it will be super dayam sexy

people tint there windshields all the time in fl. id like to get mine done even with like 70 % but il probablly stick to 35 all around in my car. tint laws are hard to man date in fl, cops have like 35% and 20% all around here. its hard to not have tint.

 

^^ That's weird, I've never seen anyone with a tinted windshield...

 

If you want high performance, true uv reducing high quality tint, go with Llumar Platinum Plus, plain and simple.

For a clean look, I prefer the Llumar Platinum Plus in Charcoal 35% all around. I plan on getting my front window tinted the lightest shade they have.. it's worth it in Florida ;)

 

Example of 35% Llumar Platinum Plus in Charchoal on my WRX.. It looks very dark in direct sunlight because the Platinum Plus line of tint has metallic properties... while looking very clear at night time.

 

interesting... I find myself sometimes liking the clear look and sometimes the tinted look (I really can't decide!), so maybe that'd be a good solution
