I usually wave to another tC when I see them, but never got waved back
If there is tC standing by the light, I go next to them and wave, but seems like they don't even notice if they are having the same car as mine.
I never got waved back..

 

hell yeah i would, but alas, i get alot of the same like you. noone ever cars to wave back

i feel like i'm the only friendly tC driver in my area.

i once made the mistake of waving to an xB driver around here that has wheels and a drop. I though "hey cool, another modded scion!" so i threw a peace. He ended up flicking me off

 

i always chuck the deuce if another scion owner initiates it

 

Well there's always gonna be jerks and A-holes but u gotta take it in stride. Just like when you let someone in front of you on the freeway and they don't wave a "thank you"...most people are rude. Also look at who ur wavin at. I see a lot of older people recently and some stuck up preppy kids driving the tC...i don't expect them to even look my way because i don't think they care if someone is driving the same car. I usually only wave or say whats up or throw compliments to people who seem to enjoy their cars and have a few mods and who seem to be into the scene a little...and they usually wave back or compliment me back

 

i got honked at by another tC and when i looked they waved... but usually they just try to race or stay close to drive in groups... its cool though

 

I usually get the "what you want?" look from ANY Scion driver regardless of what car I'm driving. The 1st day I got my car, on the drive home a blue tC wanted to race..... hate to say this but how typical.....................
In this world there are all types of drivers just like there are all types of ppl.
Just today I was parked next to a middle-aged guy with a Ford Mustang GT and he was quite educated and nice.

remember not everyone is into their cars they will have no idea why u waved to them
i remember giving a nod to some tC driver last week
a guy in his early 20s
he gave me the "do i know you??" look

 

I see a lot of tCs here in the bay area, but none have waved to me. But then again I've never waved to anyone. They just kinda look back at me when I look at them. It seems kinda weird to wave to another guy though. Maybe I'll do a nod next time. I've yet to see any girls drive a tC here in the yay.

Hell yes I would. But I notice that the only people really driving this car around me are older women (30-40ish) and can care less about cars they just want something that drives.

although, the day I got my car two hotties honked and waved and I couldn't resist but to do the same...it was beautiful.

 

I'll wave if I see them looking my way.

 

I don't wave, I use my horn. Usually, people don't look around for other tC's. This way, if I honk - people can hear it and it draws their attention to me. In return, I usually get people to honk back. There is an FM and an AP in my area that honks back.

 

There's an IIP, too.

 

I am always glad to see a brother-scion pass by and I used to wave to all scions...tc, xa, xb...But NO ONE ever waved back , instead they looked at me like I am out of my mind or something....
what's the problem?....i am not scary-lookinng...maybe people just dont expect a girl to wave?.....dont know... but i dont wave anymore

 

I do.. I saw a SE xB on Beach Blvd a few weeks ago.. a middle aged guy driving it.. I waved to him and he waved back...

 

if I notice someone waving, I wave back and if Im at a light I wave and honk if needed

i always wave...to any scion. i got a thumbs up from a dude once...and i got a smile and wink from some girls another time. that made my day

 

I wave and honk, and if I get no response, my feelings don't get hurt. I guess for a lot of people, their cars are just a means to get from point "a" to point "b" and couldn't care less. Consider this...think about how many Scions you see in your area, then do a search on here (arguably the most well known central Scion enthusiast site) in your same area. There is a good chance you won't see their vehicle pop up because they don't have the same passion for their cars that we do. As far as other tC owners wanting to race me...it hasn't happened yet. All the people that want to race me usually have Civics, Subarus, one Solara, and a twin turbo Supra (that car sounded mean!)

 

I wave and honk to other Scions in my area...no one returns them
