Come on, if you like it that much, then great.
I was just saying what I think about it.
I get every piece of hardware to test and I just think it's crap.
If you like it, then great - as I said.

These pages are filled with people talkin' smack about everything, why should this be any different?

how did this turn into a Zune vs. iPod thing?

If you like a player, then go for it.

The iPod has a lot of room for improvement, so hopefully no one is saying the iPod is perfect, because its not...

Not everyone wants to pay more money for the same product that's been re-released 6 or 7 different times over the last few years. God forbid the Zune have more features than the IPod while costing the same as Apple's comparable models. That would be an ISin.

FYI...the Zune is actually a Samsung Gigabeat in Microsoft clothing.

Now I have to go watch a movie on my 3" screen.

EDIT: Yeah...look at the IPhone. It costs $500 w/ 2 yr contract, from no one else but Cingular...no 3G...no Bluetooth...no 3rd party software. Yeah...seems like a great idea to pay that much for a phone that's using 3 year old technology. But then again, I suppose if you're buying IPod's...that idea doesn't seem so stupid.
It's not a samsung... It's Toshiba S10.

If you're going to connect your music player thru the aux connection, then you don't even have to buy a Zune. You can just buy a Sandisk Sansa mp3 player for $80 or so on Amazon.

The problem with connecting the MP3 player using the aux adapter is that the adapter is inside the storage area. What have you guys done to circumvent this problem? Do you just keep the MP3 inside the storage box?

If you get buzzing when connected to the aux port and plugged into the 12v lighter socket too, get this:

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-NinIseX...ch=ground+loop

Found after long search, no installation, and works perfectly every time.

As far as zune vs ipod. who cares, they're just music/video players. sheesh. An updated walkman, whoopie...

great how this turned into a zune thread.

reason I dont like the Zune isn't the player itself, its the deal behind it. Every Zune sold is $1 to the record companies because they assume you are pirating music, that to me is just bad business.

Don't believe me? Google is your friend.

That's not even the best reason NOT to buy one.
It's a joke.

hah this is funny...
I like both equally as much, they both have something to offer, but I have an Ipod only because it came out first, there is no point in buying a Zune when I have an Ipod, I just want something to play my music, watch things while im in class and play games.
Same with Mac and PC, I use both equally as much.
The apple fanboy vs Microsoft thing is a little ridiculous don't you think?

for those of you saying the Zune has a bigger screen, yes physiclly the screen IS bigger, however the iPod and Zune have the exact same resolution, so the iPod screen will be crisper and the Zune screen stretched out further

I've got an Ipod and love it, of course I bought mine before the Zune came out. In which case I still would of bought the Ipod, IMO its the best out there. I love that the TC has a AUX port, those FM modules suck, never goin back!
