Default 2005 tc scion rear brakes

I'm trying to replace the rear brakes on a 05 tc scion. From the passenger side I removed the pin bolt on the back of the caliper. It's when I noticed the cylinder slide pin with the bush dust boot cover located on the pin between the caliper and the mounting bracket has seized. I can lift the bracket enough to remove the old pads but after putting the new pads in the bracket won't slide over to clear the new pads.

Any crafty ideas how I can get the bracket to move again? I was told liquid wrench might work. I would appreicate any help I can get.

Thanks in advance.
