Default 2007 tC Rear Backing Plate..

Had a lot of trouble getting rotor off because of brake shoe hanging up. Ended up the shoe was no longer being held in place by the pin and spring clip because that part of the plate rotted away.
I know I could fashion my own to hold the shoe in place or just remove the shoes altogether and not have a parking brake in one wheel. I would rather fix it right but there seems to be little info on buying and replacing a new one.

It is the rear passenger side. Is removing the wheel hub needed?

I would say that you will most likely have to remove the wheel hub.
You can use this to look up part diagrams if it helps (https://partsouq.com/)

Cool website, JakeAut0.

Plate Sub Assembly, Right side - 4650321010

This ain't necessarily the best price, it's just the first search return on the part number. There are many more.

https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/oem/...503-21010.html

If that's more cash than you're looking to spend, you might find a decent plate at a salvage yard.

Glad you found a used one. ~$150 for a new one is too expensive.
