Default Allignment Settings

I just installed my H-Techs a week ago and now I want to get the allignment done. I went to the shop and was told that they wouldnt do it to a car that was lower than stock ride height because the specs wont be the same. He said if I got the new specs for the springs to do the allignment he would do it. Is this a normal response?! And if so...where the hell do I get those specs. The only thing that came with the springs were ride height specs and bump stop specs.

No NO NO leave that shop. You can dial the factory camber back in using Ingalls fast cam bolts! Cheapest way and they work! Pick up a set of Ingalls fast cam bolts and head to a good alignment shop in your area. Fast cams will run about 100 bucks top for all four corners but save you from buying a new set of tires for 300-800 bucks depending on your size of rim and tire brand.

So a good shop should be able to set my car on there and use the stock specs that they have in their computers?

You dont have to use cam bolts all the time either. My car we got the front within a half degree. The rear had to stay cambered in some cause of how low I have the car. they got mine really really close. I have the same tires for almost 15,000 miles and no issues at all.

As long as you get back to within reason of stock specs you will be better off than just leaving it be.

I have -1.3 camber for my rears and the shop said it's ok since my tires rub a lil bit. -1.3 isn't too bad is it?
