Default Anyone with Cusco Zero-1 coilovers

I was just wondering if anyone here had Cusco coilovers? I haven't seen any other cars with them. I have a set, and really like it, but I would like to hear from anyone else that has them.

I doubt anyone does. At least I don't recall seeing many (if any) posts about them.

From a retailer standpoint, I sell both Tein and Cusco, though haven't sold any tC Zero-1s yet (they are very new to the US).

The Cusco Zero-1's street price is about $1550 (yes, they can be had for a little less, but not much). Compare that to the Tein SS-Ps--which are on JSCspeed.com for $1330 (and can definitely be had for less--if you ask here (scionlife Tein sale) ).

The Zero-1 is the entry level Cusco coil over that offers no dampening adjustment, only ride height and pre-load. They do include front pillowball mounts for camber adjustments, but the rears are rigid mounts. There is also no E-Con capability (Cusco's electronic dampening force controller). Spring rates are F:7k (392lb)/ R: 5k (280lb).

The SSPs have height and damping adjustments (bound and rebound combined) , they include pillowball mounts with front camber adjustments and solid rears. The SSPs are EDFC compatible (so you can adjust the dampers from in the car). Spring rates are F: 7k (392lb)/ R: 10k (559lb).

So, clearly there are two different approaches to performance as shown by the huge difference in rear rates. My .02 is that the tC needs a higher rear rate then the front is getting (supported by the rates that Zeal and KW offered).

*I intentionally don't mention anything about ride height here because: A) I have no idea what the Cusco's drop is, and B) for true performance isn't achieved by slamming the car down...though, I'm sure either of these sets will go low enough for most people.

Personally, if I wasn't shopping for a new track car (something smaller, lighter and that drives the correct wheels), I'd be putting the SSPs on my tC for track days and autox.
