I was wondering if anyone here is lowered on19's? specific tire size is 19x8.5 in the rear and 19x8 in the front. The reason I ask is because a friend of my grandfather wants me to lower his tc for him and thats what he's gonna be using for his tires and i'm concerned that it might rub or just flat out be a bad idea. Any responses are apreciated BTW sorry if this is the wrong forum but this kinda falls under tires and suspension systems so i wasn't sure which one I should post in.

 

Im know that 19's will fit on a dropped tc. I dont want to post pics of anyone elses car but if you go under FS: tires/wheels, you can see some pics of tc's on 19's but yes, depending on the drop and tire width, you will have rubbing issues. but to fix that you need to poll your inner fenders.

 

In some cases you may need to roll your fenders.

 

how low are you trying to go? what rim offset are you planning to go with? going low profile? i had 19x8 +35 on a 265/35 series tire and had alotta rubbing, but i was pretty low (3.75" clearance in front, 4" in rear)

 

You had 265 width tires on a 8" rim!? How did those fit?

Im siitten on 19"s 225/35zr/19 dropped on some tein-s 2.4front/2.0rear no rubbing at all. Next tires ill be getting will be 235/35zr/19
