What do you want out of the car?
If it's mostly for looks then simple $100 springs will accomplish that.
No use dropping nearly $1000 for looks.
If you plan on doing any racing then I would look into coilovers or a good set of matched springs/shocks.
Just lowering with springs would probably provide the most comfortable ride.
Springs and after market shocks would probably ride a bit stiffer.
Full coilovers are probably the stiffest.
Some people prefer a really stiff ride and some don't; that's why you get all these mixed opinions on whats good and what isn't.

yep, if you think you'll be autoxing a lot, or theres situations where you have to adjust the heigh of your ride, then coilover's the thing for you. otherwise, if you just want it for looks, springs and mayyybe shocks will be good enough for you.
