Best place other then the dealer to get alignment...........
after a lowering spring install?
Looking for a reputable/quality place that can get the job done.
I'm going to be TRD springs.....do I tell the tech anything special? Or just walk in and say I need an alignment?
Where did you guys go?

Good year, midas, firestone etc......
Are some alignment machines more advanced then others? Or are they all the same?
Just want to make sure I get a good alignment with the most current alignment systems?
sears auto center is pretty good. 70 dollars for an alignment but its a good alignment system. also, the alignment carries a 6000 mile/6month warranty.
go get the alignment right after you drop it and then go get another one after your springs settle. your tires will thank you!

I will keep sears in mind, thanks!
check out bear allignment in glendora, it's about 30 minutes away from u in apple valley...if ur cars too low, they might be one of the few places that can do it because the shop needs a pit lift...not the standard one most places have
Are you really planning on waiting 3 weeks for you alignment? With our type of rear suspension whenever we lower our cars we also add rear Toe to the car. And added toe will wear out your tires like no other. I'd suggest getting it done the following day if not the same day..
As far as alignment places go they're all pretty much the same, its not rocket science adjusting the camber, on the fronts you just turn the upper bolt on the bottom of the shock. While on the rears to adjust the upper arm. Depending on the springs you might need the aftermarket camber bolts and adjustable rear camber arms.

3 weeks is fine...i had mine lowered for nearly 3 months be4 i got mine and my tires still lasted me another year after that...it takes a while for the wear and tear to take a toll...especially with a minimal drop as the TRD

I plan on riding my street bike more often during those 3 weeks so I do not put many miles on the car while the springs are settling.
Arent there a few different types of alignment? 3d, computer etc etc.
I'm also wondering if I have to let them know i that I have TRD springs, or does it not matter?
I think they measure the ride height, or at least they are supposed to do.

lol i went a full year and a half after dropping on hotchkis which is a lot lower then TRD before i got an alignment. i went through the stock tires, then got NeoGens because they are designed for negative camber. no problems, just drive the damn thing
