Default Best set of springs??

I've been looking at a lot of the threads on here about the Stechs, Htechs, TRD, and Hotchkis. Most people seem to like the Stechs the best... I was just wondering what you all thought about each of them? I'm considering getting the Stechs myself, but I am concerned about the drop and worried that it will scrape if i go over a speedbump or a driveway??? I didn't ike how the Hotchkis dropped more in the rear than in the front.. Haven't heard much about the Htechs other than that its slightly less of a drop than the Stechs and handles differently.. TRD.. eh...

TRD's: 1.25" front & rear
TEINS S-Tech: 2.4" front, 2.0" rear
TEINS H-Tech: 1.9" front, 1.5" rear
Hotchkins: 1.7" front, 1.97" rear

The only reason Hotchkins has a bigger drop on the rear is to make the car level. TEIN S-Tech has a big drop and you might be scrapping depends on how you drive and where? H-Tech i havent heard much on could be like the Hotchkins, and as for the TRD's? They have a decent drop? I was in a delima on the TRD's or the Hotchkins? TEINS have to much of a drop for me, i was gonna get the lip kit soon so i wanted to good enough drop to look good? So i MIGHT go with the Hotchkins? But thats just me? Heres a topic on springs:

With anything more than the TRD springs, you will really want to change out your shocks/struts as well, as dropping too much will damage your OEM struts over time.

I like the TRD springs, but they are a conservative drop, I have the lip kit and still scrape just a bit on large inclines... so I know the Tein S-Techs will be rubboramma!

here's my tC with S-techs...i've been driving with them for about a month now...never scraped once. and yes the ride is a tad bouncy, but nothing annoying or bothersome at all..i love the feel and the look!

I'm now leaning more towards the Hotchkis springs... I've read up on them more and like Yanki01 said the reason it's dropped lower is so that it levels out the car... It's a nice drop with the Hotchkis; a little lower than TRD, but higher than the Stechs.. No need to worry about a camber kit or new set of shocks either... I'm thinking Hotchkis is the way to go... Stechs might cause a problem with me and my area of driving cuz of all the hills, slopes, rugged roads, hugh driveways, speedbumps and al the good sh*t.... Haven't heard any complaints outta Hotchkis users yet! Plus, Hotchkis is the only company that decided to level out the car, everyone else just has the same drop on front and rear or has a bigger front drop.... I say thumbs up for Hotchkis standing out

no matter what springs you get 5k - 15k miles your gonna need new shocks...

And Tein evens the car out more drop in front then rear
