Coilovers?

Maybe Eibach Sportline? Goldline? Megan Racing?

Did you look at the chart in the first post?

?? Is this in answer to TheWatcher's question? If it was... the s-techs aren't even front to rear. Front is dropped more, so there's a rake to the car.

yea i looked at the chart. the lowest equal drop was the megan racing i believe. there are some that do like 2.4 front and 2.0 front or whatever, but i dont want that. and i dont want/need coilovers. i just want an even drop front and back thats a little more than 2 inches.

I think the 2" is about the best you're going to do. I don't recall hearing of anything else that drops any further. If you're really looking to slam it you'd have to do coilovers or airbags (custom). The rest are uneven one way or another...

The drops are uneven but the wheel gap is more even. If you drop it equally the front will be higher than the back (that's how it is stock).

Actually I think the rear is in stock form. Part of the reason I love my Hotchkis springs... they level it out (1.7 F and 2.0 R).

Tell me this ain't level...

My hotchkis are lower in the front then the back, quite a bit in fact. Those numbers are wrong.
All S-techs I've seen look really even.
All megans i've seen are terrible.

Oh, and I have the injen axleback as well, no rubbing issues. That bend is right under the rear axle, so your wheels push everything up on bumps.

so according to keeshwah, i would need to lower the front more since the front is highter than the back with stock springs. so how would lowering it more in the back fix this (with the Hotchkis, 1.7 F and 2.0 R). if i did my math right, that would it make even more un-even.

correct, which is why the posted hothckis number are incorrect. i got a a 1.5 finger gap in the back and barely a 1 finger gap in the front. Dont' know how much my turbo and manifold weight down the front, but probably not more then my pair of 10" subs weigh down the back. If you want it perfect, get coilovers, or the cheaper ground controll adjustable coil springs. But I think you'll be happy with S-techs. Do a search for pics of S-techs.

yeah but people have said that they arent worth it because you have to get new struts or something to go with them. i dont know, ive done research and ive basically decided that springs are the way to go for me.

Look at some more pics of the hotchkis, I think they are about as even you can get. Also keep in mind that if you add stereo equipment in the rear that will weigh the back down more. I could do much lower than the hotchkis drop, the sound of bottom is worse than nails on a chalk board to me.
Also if you have the cash the Hotchkis Total Vehicle Control (TVC) is a great buy. TRDSparks usually has a good deal on it. You'll get the aggressive stance and the handling in one package.

I got the TVS system, and I LOVE it. You really can't beat the handling. I think the hotchkis actually ride better thenteh stechs as well, but I think the stechs have more of an even drop.
What about goldLine? They drop way low and look real even as well.

Adjustable coil overs would be the perfect solution!
