rear sway. front strut basically does jack squat but it makes the engine bay look nicer.

i recently bought the DC sports front bar used here in SL for $50 bux, its local anyway....

if i installed it by myself do i need to jack the whole front of my car or installed while on the ground... do i need to alignment after it installed? i dont want the bolts get dull by forcing it.. please help!

 

Why would anyone tell you to jack the car up? All it does is connect the 2 strut towers. You aren't changing any part of the suspension that affects the alignment.

 

yeah, i've heard that you need to jack it up to make sure the towers are actually straight when you tighten down the bar... but seriously.. i doubt it. i didn't jack mine up, and i'm still doing fine, and i'm sure a load of people also did the same.

 

The strut towers are part of the car's frame. It's ALWAYS straight. (unless you crash and the impact ripples the body, in that case it isn't)

 

will the 05-06 TRD rear sway bar fit an 07? please pm me.

im thinking getting progress springs the 1.8" drop, do you guys think it will rub on 18x8 wheels with 235/40/18 tires?? cuz i dont wanna have problem.... thanks!

Ok so I've read through the entire thread so i feel ok asking this question. I'm getting19x8 wheels and 225/35 tires. I do not care at all about improving performance. I want the most comfortable ride possible. I know the TRD is pretty comfortable and close to stock ride, or so i hear. But I would really like it a little lower than that. What is my best option for a smooth ride lower than TRD for fitting 19" wheels?

 

iv got tein s tech springs about to put on my tc.
will i need to camber them?
