i have tien s-techs on my tc know and i am an going to buy a camber adjustment kit . i was wondering if i can get away with only buying the front adjustment and not the back. Or are both front and back needed?

 

Actually, I'd say only the back is needed. Some will say you don't need it but I took it to get aligned and only the rears were not put back into the recommended specs.

fronts were fine after my alignment. rears were slightly more negative than the mechanic would have liked to see, but really no big deal.

 

Well, that really depends on what you want to do. Do ever intend on tracking the car?

 

I get my work done at PTUNING and they said they have never seen a TC yet to need front camber kits, only rear camber arms to adjust the rear negative camber. Read this post!

Well, for example, my track tires say that I'm getting positive camber gains in heavy cornering on the outside front wheel. On top of corner weighting, camber is a good solution. But, I don't know that he ever intends to track the car.

You would need front camber adjustments to add negative camber up front because it's not bad at all just lowered, but I don't think that's the concern of this post.

 

I don't think it is either but your right! Negative camber is great for the track!

 

would you need camber adjustments if you were planning to run hotchkis springs and trd struts on a daily driver?

 

I would just spend the extra couple hundred and buy the front and rear set..... it will make your life easier in the long run... I did for my Tein S-techs and I have not had an issue with tires or alignment.....

 

I'm only a degree out in the rear I believe so while I do plan to get the camber kit it's going to wait until summer.
