Default Cant Get Wheel Alignment for lowered TC!!

Ya so the other day i went to the Toyota dealer expecting to get a wheel alignment after i put tien s-techs on. They drive the car into the garage and then back out because they said the car cant drive onto the lift with out scraping because the car is to low. So they said you have to take it to a automotive garage that has a lift for lowered cars to drive on to. I called a bunch of garages in the area and no body has a lift for lowered cars! IT SUX!

Has anybody had this problem? And where did u go for an alignment?

bah, cruddy dealership. The dealerships here in orlando have alignment machines that are level with the ground. cars laying frame can get on them no problem.

I haven't lowered my tC yet, but my old car I lowered and had it close to 2" off the ground. When people had a problem putting it on a lift, they just put some boards down.

It's not really that hard.

My car's too low for my jack, but I just need a slight upward pull near the wheel well from a buddy to slide the jack under there.

Your local Firestone Auto Centers can fix it for you.

man that sucks.. i remember when i got a nail stuck on my tire i took it to All American Tires shop and they tried to go drive my car up on thoes. i was watching every single move he made. next think you know he was scraping the bottom of my bumper(didnt show any scratch afterwards) and it smashed my mudguards. so then he then he backs up and my mudguards got caught on the lift and almost ripped it of... i got ____ed... luckly it was still in shape.. so then they decided to use a jack.. thoes bastard..
