CF/Kevlar roof now installed, in Corner Carvers...
As in another post, call and bug Andy at Kaminari to have them produce one that will at least bolt in;)
Ours was a major job to install, not something most would wish to do.
Picture this: Looks exactly the same outside except two less seams on the roof, that is it, nothing else to imagine at all
In our case we removed the whole factory unit and made our own simple brackets(not simple to install in the least though) so we could save as much weight at possible and make is so we could remove it if ever needed.
If we reinstalled the headliner right now we would just have two black holes where there used to be sunroof, not much to see there either

hahahaha, at least one member has seen it, picked it up, etc, right before we installed it
Ask Lance, aka Lo bux racer, at least he can vouch for that;)
We have not put the headliner back in yet as thinking about ways to make it more integrated, possibly cutting out the center "bar" area, need to see if a bit of heat will make it moldable so we can have a nice look to it.
We plan to either dye(not always the best approach) the headliner, A, B and C pillars as well are hatch trim to match the dash. No big rush as want to do this right and no shows, races, etc all winter.
We are close to having our new website up and running and will be able to post pics easier but part of why we are hesitant to post much is we need to get some decent mag coverage which is not easy for a real car to get. We just do not want to show to many of our cards in public yet, please understand, we are investing alot of money and a huge amount of time into this and it is not a trailer queen or dyno queen so we have to do this right to get some value from the investment.
Of course we get all the great fun of building it, driving, showing what it can really do, etc, but just not something that blairs out, look at me, LOOK AT ME, ME TOO, I SO HOT< OOOOOHHHHH;)
Hopefully you get the ideal, this is as much for our business as it is for our fun and we prefer to build real cars and really drive them in competitions and enter in shows that count to use, audio comps. We will let the chips fall where they do at the few car shows we show up at. Only the real performance enthusiasts even understand what a real car is and there are not enough of them around sadly.
So, pics will be far and few between, not trying to play any games here guys, been modding cars for 37 years now, just realize the importance to us, what we are doing and hoping to get some value to help offset the cost in the way of real publicity.
Sincerly,
Rick

Plus, we are waiting for our Autopower SCCA approved roll bar with removable harness and cross bar, due in tomorrow
We want to see how it all looks before we start any chopping up of the headliner.
Any questions about the roll bar or a cage, email me.
At out last autocross I recieved a time slip at the end of the run showing us 1.08 seconds behind first place, considering that was a very well built Civic and we have not even installed all our parts yet and we are still on street tires instead of slicks, you should get the picture, this car is getting quite fast
Even though our class is dominated in most areas by STI, EVOs, M3s, Civics took 3rd and 4th at the National Runoffs this year.
Not saying we are at that level yet and we may never be but this car is going to get everything we can possibly do to it to make it the fastest SM class autocross car there is and at least very competitive in regional events, why we pushed so hard to get the roof
We were going to build out own roof if we had to, that is one heck of a time consuming and fairly costly project to do it from scratch, we are quite honored to have Kaminari set us up with one

Again, want one, call them, everybody, please do so, ask for Andy, put a bug in his ear until you get what you want

OK, don't go overboard, just let him know you want one and maybe a freindly reminder once in awhile, we need more people calling, not just repeat calls, then maybe we can get them to do a bolt in design for you guys

Yes, we will have out car on our website
I will post some pics of prior things we have done on other projects as soon as the site is ready for that, maybe launched in a week or so
It is hard to get a real car published no matter how well you build it, that is why we do not post many pics, not a secret, our main mods are listed, many small details we do are as well.
If we wanted to have 50 guages, 20 monitors, 15 subs, 30 amps, 22's, bagged, metalflake paint, 32sq ft of wing out back, etc, we could get published easily enough, lol, just not our style, our car is a sleeper in most all regards.

To be honest, I was just mildly hoping that your car would be at the Califonria International Autoshow's "Underground" section.
I knew it wouldn't be but in the rare chance it was there I looked anyways. It was a show for body kits and audio systems. Some audio setups intriqued me but most of them were spilling out of the car and may have weighed as much as the car itself. There were plenty of body kits of all sorts of color, shape and size.
Needless to say, I wasn't at all entertained by the "underground" exhibit.
Actually I was!
There is this one car in the back, some kind of Jag.. Only 5 were ever built and I saw one of them at that show and guess what?
I KICKED IT
That was the high point of the underground exhibit.

We have quite a bit of work over the winter to complete, turbo, under hood detail will be very simple in black and polished aluminum, black braded wire loom, etc, it will take several days just on the wiring alone. We are recovering much of the interior but black to match our seats, may get some race seats for the rear now, playing with that idea, found some 8 lb ones
Alot of audio work to do but it will be very integrated to look as stock as possible yet gauranteed to blow your mind;)
Exterior is very simple, smoke overlays, 35% tint, debadged, gutter gaurd grill, 17 wheels, moderate drop, decent brakes, maybe a small CF splitter but without support rods, can't stand them, will do something unseen.
We may do a fairly large wing but it would be hidden mounts and only on the car for track days because we will need it, off the rest of the time.
Probably going with a CF hood, painted stock color, would love a hatch but waiting for confirmation of the rules from SCCA, interested in the CF fenders if saves any weight but painted as well.
When done the car will not be a show stopper, most will ignore it, only those that understand real performance will appreciate what we do, that is fine, we like those guys the best anyway

Good job in creating a good solid performance car... or at least as much as you have so far!
I personally like my sunroof too much to part with it for now, mine is pretty quiet and I use it a bunch here! We twin cities folks enjoy the warm as much as possible when it is here
But if and when this one turns into a weekend only car down the road, this will be a serious consideration for me. Good work!

Thanks, I have never been much for sunroofs, convertibles, etc, for some reason always prefered a top over my head. Maybe it was because I grew up dirt poor and lived in the basement during most of my younger years, lol!
I have to say with the right mods the car really did start to handle quite well with the sunroof still installed. More than good enough to really enjoy back moutain roads, miles and miles of them
Our car is certainly not a daily driver, far to much time into it that is not easy to replace, alot more to come and just do not want to risk it. Besides, once you get it really fast, just not fun unless going to fast, best to take it to tracks to fully enjoy it's real performance.
We like driving our Tacoma around alot more than the tC when we just want to relax and enjoy the views like we did in the mountains yesterday, on dirt fire roads, way back in the boonies
