Default Cheapo Spring question?

I have seen a real variance in prices between certain types of springs.
One company on ebay claims there springs are made at the same factory as Tenzo.

They are around 80 bucks plus shipping

then i found these ..... $45 plus shipping
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/05-06...spagenameZWDVW

These are sold so someone bought them
I just wonder how much difference there is between these types and the 180 buck teins etc
I want to spend as little as poss but I dont want to waste money either
please help

like most things cheaper means less quality, so it'll give you the drop but the ride will probably be bad and the springs could wear and break. I rather spend more money at first then regret it by replacing it later on

You get what you pay for. There is NO way I would put $45 springs on my car. Save up and do it the right way, you will be happy you did.

yeah, seriously imagine how bad the damage would be if your springs broke and your tc just dropped straight down..not worth the risk.

Cheapo parts + eBay = NO!!

There is no guaranty these springs are the proper height, spring rate, or weight capacity for the tC. Cheap or improper springs could cause damage to a tC, or worse, cause the tC to lose control at high speeds.

..dont cheap out on important stuff. well. dont cheap out at all.. i put the eibach proline on my car.. about a 1.5" drop.. cl eaned up the distance around the wheel wells evened it all out. with 215/40/17's.. and before i put the hweels on, the eibacs felt almost stock due to their progressive rate coil design.. but they do cost a couple hundred. but i think its very well worth it.. esp when my @$$ doesnt hurt after driving long trips..
