It is a whole lot flatter around the corners but the ride is rougher. However, that is to be expected from any race suspension. im not sure if I have gotten used to it or it has broken in some but the ride is smoother now than it was a month ago.

From my experience... U won't (see anything dramatic) until you do (see the tires only worn out on the inner corners)...

You were saying how it got smoother after you rode it for a while...

Did you purge the shocks before installing them on your car? Most companies ship shocks out after being built without fully compressing them a few times prior to shipment. When you receive your kits, you should bush the rod all the way into the shock (slowly) and let it come back out on it's on. Do this a few times on each shock to properly prep the shock for installation. It should ride the same from that point on.

thanks for the tip, although a little late.

I dont know it could be my imagination but it seems to suck up more road defects now translating to a better ride.

I have the ss-p no ground kit and front all the way about 2 1/2 inch off the ground with the camber plates at 3 deg.

As for the camber... when using tein and dropping it down all the way yes camber is off.... On mine with just a 2 inch drop in the rear its about 1 deg (not much)

Front dropped liked slammed is... is about 2 deg...

Right now with my camber plates all the way Im thinking im at 4-5deg

I'm at a 2" drop with SS-Ps and with the camber plates a tiny fraction from maximum, I'm still only at -1.75. Right where I want to be, but if I wanted more, I'd have to do some tweaking and screw moving on the camber plates.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention: negative camber won't hurt your tires unless it exceeds -2.5 degrees. Excessive toe will kill tires in a few hundred miles.

Alls I got to say is nitto neo gen tires... helps prevent uneven camber wear... working so far for me

Sorry, it ain't the tires. Negative camber does not wear tires on the inner edges. I have -1.5 all around on my MkIV Supra, and have had for many years with zero wear problems. If the toe is off by 1mm, I eat tires for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If the toe is good, I never have problems and I get perfectly even wear across the tires. Camber less than 2.5 degrees does not wear out tires.

You've measured, or you are guesstimating? I'd be surprised if there is more than a degree of camber gain for one inch of travel in the geometry, that' pretty hard to do with a strut. I'm lowered 2" and still well under -2 degrees.

well loweing the car with the pillowball mount on 0 I had a degree... then moving it the 7 notches... its about 3 cuz the tire was almost rubbing the inner fender now its about a inch and a half away

Just curious - can you measure from the bolt at the front of the lower control arm to ground so I can compare my ride height to yours? I don't trust measurements to body parts because body panels aren't very stable, but the height of the front bolt for the lower control arm is very indicative of actual ride height. It's also very repeatable from car to car. Much better than measuring against a wheel arch.

There are a few things I'd like to know about the tC, especially camber gain under compression and extension, roll center, and CoG. I have a full spreadsheet for my Supra with all the tech data on the stock set up. It would be nice to have the same for my tC.
