coilover newb w/ a lowering question

Default coilover newb w/ a lowering question

i know most common word will be 'search' or 'why those'....beleive me done a lot of searching. but here it goes

got my new ksport kontrol pro's on not too long ago, the backs i lowered just fine. for some reason the fronts when i lower them the spring has a lot of play to it....like i can physically move it up and down with my hands. is there something i'm missing when tightening or lowering?

any HELPFUL suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

You're lowering it wrong. You're supposed to loosen the lower mount locking collar and twist the assembly to the height you want, then tighten the lower locking collar to set it. What you just did was take the preload off the spring, yes it'll be lower but shock travel is lost, and you're not taking advantage of the coilover setup.
