Comfort vs. Performance

Comfort vs. Performance
I've been debating to myself for awhile whether I should go for more of a comfort setup versus a performance setup coilover.
I see that the TRD coilovers provide a comfortable ride and adds a sportier feel in the ride's suspension. However I think these may be lacking a little too much on the performance side.
But then again, I don't want too stiff of a ride where I will be in pain on some bumpy roads out here or start feeling that highway I once thought was smooth actually is not the case.
What is the next step up from the TRDs that has a good balance between performance and comfort? Would those be the Tein SSs?

I have been told that the Ksport kontrol coilovers are similar to just springs when set to their softest setting. Also, they are dual TAP, which means you can change the ride height without affecting spring rate and shock travel (which results in crummy ride quality).

If you want your car to handle,
#1 mod: put the fattest rear antisway bar on. Either a DG Spec or Hotchkis Sport.
Your handling will improve hugely.
I auto crossed my tC for almost a year with no suspension mods other than rear sway bar and I was competitive.
Antisway bar will not make your ride harsh either!

INTERESTING. I will definately get the sway bar thanks.
I guess coilovers don't make as significant a performance change as most people think. Mostly for the looks on the drop and to save your stock shocks.
edit: Where can i buy the DG spec sway bar?
