Default Comprehensive tool list

Alright, I finally did it. Bought the following items:
TRD struts and springs
Hotchkis front and rear sway bars
Ingalls rear strut tower brace
DC Sports front strut tower brace

Apparently everything came with all the mounting hardware, and of course most of that will be re-used from the car.

My concern is that I'll be up on jackstands and come up short with something and not have a ride to work on Monday. I'm planning on doing a mass install, myself, next weekend, and want to be prepared. I've gathered I'll need a 30-50lb torque wrench, spring compressors, obviously a socket set, which I already have. Is there anything I'm missing? Any tip or trick tool that I'll thank God for having at 3 a.m. on Sunday night that someone would recommend?

Thanks!

First off - the Hotchkis front sway - search for info on this install. Have read that you will need it up on a LIFT and have a helper to do this. Something up front needs to be dropped to get the bar in. Supposed to be a real PITA for just this one part.

You'll also need a bigger torque wrench. The 2 bolts that connect the front strut assy to the steering knuckles tq @ 177 ft-lb.

Have you checked the DIY thread for TRD spring install?

I think you may want a buddy for this one champ. You will need someone to stop you from screaming and cussing cause...the springs get frustrating.

rule 1 its never usually good to work alone incase a jackstand fails.
anyways...air compressor and impact wrench are always a nice toy that helps. research some of DIY's on here

i dnt knw if its possible to do the front sway by yourself without a lift, you need to drop the front cradle and motor.

u will need a tq wrench well into the 100+ ft lb rating as the bolts that hold the subframe to your car are tq down really tight. a lift is not needed for front sways but of course it is really helpful. you are just lowering the engine cradle to get access to the bracket bolts. without air tools, you will need a breaker bar too, specially if everything is done while laying on the ground. the rest of the installs are cake so i suggest doing the front sway first to get it out of the way.

I appreciate all the advice. I picked up a 30 - 200 lb torque wrench, a set of spring compressors, and I have all other tools. I don't have an air wrench or compressor but I'll probably rent for the weekend, and yes, I have help.
I'm going to search every DIY and how-to on this site and the internet and will have a lot of material organized and printed to go by.
I would ask for more clarification on the front sway bar. Am I reading this correct-I'll actually have to disconnect and lower the entire motor assembly? Is that even possible? I really hope that's not true, I don't necessarily look forward to it . . .

you have to lower the engine cradle, don't worry your engine won't fall out with it. you are only loosening up the nuts and bolts that hold the rear end of the cradle. you won't be disconnecting it entirely.
